When my husband says he will be in at a specific time, then doesnt come home at said time? He went out. I called at 9 to say do you have a door key. He says yes, but im gonna be home within the hour, so wait up and we can have a cuppa and some food together. Now it is gone 11, and no sign of him. Why say a time then not be here?

Ah no, mine super pisses me off with this.

It's because if i knew he was going to be out all night, I'd just shut down and go to sleep. If i expect him back, I worry about why he;snot in yet.

YANBU and it is inconsiderate.

Thats the thing. I was happy thinking, food, bath, bed. He says, wait for me to come home, eat together. Stay out till 3am for all i care, but dont keep me waiting for food.

My ex used to do this all the time. Super annoying! I can't stand when someone gives me a time for something and doesn't bother sticking to it.

I don't care when you are coming home, but don't tell me one thing and do another - especially when I haven't even fucking asked you what time you'd be home - YOU volunteered the information!!!!!!!!!

I read your post and laughed... I can completely relate.

My OH does the same and it drives me potty! He works late evening and finishes at different times each night anywhere between 12:30am and 3am and usually I phone him at about 11:30pm to say goodnight and it really annoys me when he says "I'll be quick tonight, I'll be home at 12:30" so I wait for him and I have to phone him again at 1:30 and he then says "another half hour" It isn't like I have to be up for work tomorrow!!! Actually, now I'm on ML I don't but before...
