I know I am BU to let myself get annoyed, but I cant help but rage about some of the things she says.
She moved from London when we were 17. She went to a lovely quiet northern town and was pregnant within a month of being there. Subsequently shes very happy, had another baby, nothing would ever make her move back to the stinking shit hole that is London. Everyone there is money grabbing and who in gods name would want to go to an exhibition, or the cinema, or the theatre. Every shop we have here, they have there. Also, dont I think my life should have moved on by now, I cant party forever, my life will be fulfilled once I settle down and have a baby. Of course any protestations that I love London are all because Im jealous of my friends with kids and am trying to talk myself round (All of this is her very words) I was 27 at the time of her most vicious rant, so still young!
I love London, I worked in central and now Ive got a baby son, I still love it (Im really missing the cake shops 
) Her town is gorgeous too, it really is, Im not going to say its awful just because of the things she says.
After saying all this (its sometimes all she talks about, I think in a bid to prove shes happy) shes coming for a London break this weekend. She cant wait, shes going to go shopping/theatre/clubbing, London is going to be fabulous : Shes basically doing all the things she belittled while I was doing them.
Im BU to get wound up, arent I. Even more unreasonable to ask her "But I thought you hated London?"
