I know kids love these programmes (probably adults too), but... would I be terribly unreasonable to wish they'd get a gentle nip bitten to within an inch of their lives sometimes?
I see these 'presenters' picking up animals, reptiles, etc. by the tail, ignoring the warning signs and getting no consequences because of all the safety equipment... they're so intrusive and insistent with the animals. Ok so our DCs aren't likely to come across these venemous animals, but it's not a great lesson in respect for all animals, is it?
I miss the days of David Attenborough, filming and narrating animals and nature from a difference, with great skill and gentleness.
