dd & b friend

sorry to sound off here but i have a dd who has been at her new very good independent school for 2 terms, she is twelve and she has just told me that her bf dad disapproves of her. i am incensed as i dont think he knows her he has met her once!. dd is exceptionally bright hence the scholarship to this school. i just really dont understand, i mean its not like she has taught her friend to smoke or swear !!! , , ,

Say to DD well honey some people have cold hearts and closed minds and bfs DD may be one of them. Don't let it effect you because at the end of the day some people don't really like anyone that much

I think this is more down to what her supposed best friend has actually said. It could well be a case of chinese whispers and misunderstanding.

Is her friend a full fee paying pupil? Could it be snobbery on the fathers part?

it could be snobbery squeaky as we are just humble middle/working class bods. its making me feel very inadequate. i think she is a scholar too.

He may have more toilets in his house than you but hes still only got one backside!
