shorts with tights cute or naff

Ive seen a few kids and toddlers wearing shorts with a pair of tights I think it looks ok but part of me think it looks really naff what do others think.

Cute on kids - my DDs (8 and 10) really love this look and it suite their enviably slim legs. Me, I wouldn't go there.

Thats what every teenage girl wears around here, black or patterned tights, short denim shorts. And stupid hair.

I love the way it looks on other people's kids so have tights + shorts but somehow never ever put DD in them. Perhaps I will leave them out tomorrow as I am out all day and DH will be dressing her, then I can blame him if it goes wrong Grin

My DD (2yrs) wears shorts with tights and couldnt possibly look anything other than adorable.....but i may be biased Grin
