Should be able to tell you if a wheelchair will fit in to a room or not!!!
My mum is an amputee and has a wheelchair, she has been trying to book a holiday for the past two weeks, has paid a deposit (a large one) and the staff at Thomas cook said they would make sure she had a wheelchair assessable room, they just had to make the booking with their special needs department, this was 2 weeks ago, my sister has been on the phone to them every day only to get more and more bullshit as to why they have not got back to her and still don't know.
They have £900 of my mothers money and she is due to go in under 3 weeks but still does not know if she will have a room suitable for a woman with a leg missing who uses a wheel chair.
She went to Tunisia last year and ended up having to change hotels at her own expense as TC fucked up. She was offered a waste bin to use as a toilet as she could not access the one in the room she was given.
I don't know why she uses these idiots really, but AIBU to think that Thomas cook should do their job, not bullshit about for two weeks when all my mum needs to know is if she can get her chair in to a room
