Scared babe makes sadness
Laughing babe makes happiness
Is it justified?

houseworkwhore · 18/03/2011 20:59

DS1 used to react like that when I played peek-a-boo with him using my hands - he was ALWAYS so shocked when I "appeared" = and then dissolved into giggles Grin

purpleknittingmum · 18/03/2011 21:02

Brilliant! The look of horror and then the mega cackles!! :o

springbokdoc · 18/03/2011 21:05

Read the comments - there are actually people who think this is an outrage that the mother is terrifying her child.

Cheered me up no end.

A mumsnetter has lost her 2 year old ds today. The threads are in active convos. Some of us have decided to sign off for the night as a mark of respect and in memory of her ds. I wonder if anyone on this thread would do the same?

SlainteBooyFeckingHoo · 18/03/2011 21:11

oh bibbity, thank you for letting us know. who is the poster? so sad for her and her family. Sad

SlainteBooyFeckingHoo · 18/03/2011 21:12

it's ok i have found the thread BOF has started. Sad

AnswersInHaiku · 18/03/2011 21:24

You say "some of us",
But obviously not you.
Lead by example.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 18/03/2011 21:32

AnswersInHaiku having a bad night?

If you dislike the thread so much go away.

I'm very sorry to hear about that mumsnetter bibbity, my thoughts are with her :(

MissVerinder · 18/03/2011 21:33

Oh, me too. I'm off then.

AnswersInHaiku · 18/03/2011 21:34

Deepest sympathies,
But this action means nothing.
We are text on screen.

ShinyMoonInAPurpleSky · 18/03/2011 21:45

Sorry but I don't find your little haiku message of sympathy to be very thoughtful. Feels a bit like you are making light of the worst thing that could happen to a mother, like you are taking the piss a bit while you play your little games. Sorry if that offends, just my personal feelings on the matter.

Back to the topic, my ds finds watching the cat chase his building blocks around absolutely hysterical! He laughs in the same way the baby in the video does!

AnswersInHaiku · 18/03/2011 21:49

Equally thoughtful
As not posting on Mumsnet
For one night, I think.
