he is outside weilding an electric saw in an attempt to build a treeless treehouse. i would mauch prefer to get a professional but he has this image of grandchildren playing on his creation in 30 years time. i am terrified the bloody thing will collapse with 5 dc in it!

He'd better hope it doesn't or he could be up in court!

radiohelen · 18/03/2011 15:49

Trust in your man.... he has a powertool in his hands. Once the treehouse has fallen down you can call him a powertool and get a professional in. Up until that point it's the most amazing thing you've ever seen darling....

FabbyChic · 18/03/2011 15:50

What makes you think he is not capable of making it safely? If he has a power saw he must know some decent DIY. Have a little faith.

eastereggthief · 18/03/2011 15:51

oh i never even thought of other peoples dc getting injured, thats even worse

so is he building a shed?

eastereggthief · 18/03/2011 16:15

He has bought shed panels squeaky. The playhouses we looked at were a bit small for 5 dc. But he has had 4 telegraph poles put in by some man with a digger. So the bloody thing is about 6ft up on a decking type platform.

Sounds like it is being put up properly and he knows what he is doing... :)

mmsmum · 18/03/2011 17:23

As long as the kids aren't outside while he is brandishing his power tool I think you'll be fine lol

dexifehatz · 18/03/2011 17:30

agree with squakytoy and fabbychic. and lol at radiohelen ! :)

Zippylovesgeorge · 18/03/2011 17:35

Hope you've got planning permission for this raised building ;)

northerngirl41 · 18/03/2011 19:55

Oh it's fine - just teach the kids to leap off it and roll... It's what all the jockeys do.
