ok, not strictly aibu but I can't believe what a selfish twat of a man would do this. Not sure if this is post Japan or not but why cause tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage. It beggars belief. And not done in the heat of the moment either. Unless it is all a stunt?

What connection is there to Japan? Confused

DelGirl · 18/03/2011 09:40

just re-read it and it says it was a stunt but don't think it is in the true sense.

None, but you would think in light of the tsunami and earthquake a person would not be so wasteful. I'm not saying he should have given money to Japan or anything but..........dykwim? Hmm

He owned the car, he didnt buy it to smash it up, it was faulty. I am not seeing the point here at all.

DelGirl · 18/03/2011 09:44

MrsRhettButler · 18/03/2011 09:46

well i would have taken it off his hands...... Grin

DelGirl · 18/03/2011 09:47

all i'm saying is he will have to spend alot of money to put it right or buy a new car, I can think of better ways of disposing of cash that's all but fairplay, it's his right, his money, I just think it is selfish.

OP posts:
MrsRhettButler · 18/03/2011 09:49

thing is, he couldn't really sell it if he's saying it was faulty could he? so what do you think he should have done?

DelGirl · 18/03/2011 09:54

find someone who could repair it Smile

doutzen · 18/03/2011 09:58

get stuck in, lads
I don't think he's selfish at all, just peeved.
Rightly so, if you spent £400k on a car you'd expect it to fecking work
