We have one DD that we adopted five years ago and she was really ill last year and I had a really hard time adapting and accepting her diagnosis. Working towards an OU postgrad too, and was promoted at work into a senior post initially for six months last year. Just had it confirmed that I will be remaining in post for another six months due to the good job I have done so far and getting paid a lot more. So all good.

But DH has barely acknowledged. In fact it seems to be putting him out Sad

It feels like whatever I do is wrong

Congratulations!

Maybe hubby feels you're leaving him behind? Still, he needs to make a fuss of you.

Hope your dd is ok xx
