If you were PM... how would you run this country?

I'd bring back early closing on Wednesday afternoons.

I'd make it compulsory for everyone to eat cake on Friday mornings.

Anyone caught speeding would be banned for 6 months (minimum) and then only be allowed to drive a robin reliant.

I like the Friday morning rule.

Slainte, how could anyone possibly object to eating cake on Fridays? it doesn't need to be a very big cake...

I would ban frootshoots, sugar, offending people, Primark, Boden, Brown leather sofas, buying puppies, Greggs/Copelands, Asda, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Per Una, shop bought Birthday cakes, benefits (regardless of how much people might actually need them), private schools, public schools, state schools, coco pops, school nurses and lazy people. And open a Waitrose near my house. In California.

of course :) just on Friday's you'd have to do it!

I've got visions of a bunch of particularly grumpy anarchists being dead rebellious and not eating friday cake despite the fact that they desperately want to as it's yummy [mwhahaha]

I'd put judge judy in charge of all family courts.

No more overseas aid to countries with their own space programme.

Actual meaningful prison sentences which recognise that prison serves a useful purpose in keeping nasty people off our streets. If prisons are too overcrowded then we'll build more. A life sentence should mean that or it can't be called that.

A massive increase in the support we give to children in care including a free university place regardless of their qualifications.

A 'surrogate grandparent' programme to match lonely old people with needy young people, e.g. children in care, at risk children.

A tax on bankers' bonuses.

Everything Rhinestone said. And I'd make it more profitable to work (any job) than it is to be on welfare. I know plenty of people who want to work but can live better on welfare.
