(antibiotics). He's 20 months. Diagnosed with chest infection and perforated ear drum on Monday. I think he was in a lot of pain on Sat and Sunday, and slept in my bed waking every 2 hours. But I have to say, since then he has been back very nearly to his old self. Obv I'm not arranging any play dates, or taking him to the swings or for long walks etc.

But I'd like to get some things ready for the new baby (due in 10 weeks) and have something I have to take back to the shop. If he's wrapped up snug in buggy, can I take him along? Or is it cruel/risky with the germs etc???

I'm sure he'll be fine, they bounce back so quickly when they are little .

If he is quite happy to sit, then no yanbu. He might nod off, if you are lucky.

No,I wouldn't. Perforated ear drum is nasty, and painful. Keep him at home for a bit longer until he is over the infection properly. Best wishes
