YANBU! I despair at how quickly they get school clothes manky, especially when I know I'm going to be washing/ ironing them all! I am sure my 2 dd's could give your ds a run for his money in the filthy stakes!

compo · 15/03/2011 19:30

Oh yes my ds is in yr 2
now I wash his uniform 2 or 3 times a week depending on how much mud wrestling he's done Hmm
only got two sets of uniform now though, lol

mumbar · 15/03/2011 19:35

DS has got 5 pairs of trousers, 5 white polo t shirts and 3 jumpers. Grin

I wash the 2 jumpers on a Tuesday so he has enough to last the week.

Washed 1 tonight but know it will bite me on the arse as he'll make all 3 dirty in the next 3 days and will need another washed before Friday. Thank goodness they dry quickly. Grin

I check DS's white polos to see if a second wear is possible!! He is 6yrs old. Def better in winter than summer. No doubt he will need to be changed come lunch time!!

Oh, and YADefNBU

FabbyChic · 15/03/2011 19:38

My son used to have three sets, one on, one clean one in the wash! Blame my mother!

mumbar · 15/03/2011 19:42

The last few days of sun have drawn a halt on mud splashes up the trouser legs!!!

Agree with the white polo - will be clean if DS has kept his jumper on, it takes the full brunt usually, although he does manage to get his collar filthy sometimes. Its an art. Grin

IWBU and smug. Grin

And now have suffered Karma. Wink

DS came home the day of wearing his jumper twice in a row with printing ink all over his logoed school t-shirt - couldn't be the cheapy ASDA one Hmm - and after vanish, bleach and washing at 90° it won't come out Angry

Envy ds 5 started last sept, new trousers every 2 days or so, jumper & t shirt every day. :(

SeeJaneKick · 17/03/2011 20:27

I must be a freak or have a totally mucky chid...DD has a new one every day...shirt, dress and jumper!

mumbar · 17/03/2011 20:46

No Jane you are totally normal and so is DD IME. That was the first time DS wore the same jumper 2 days in a row and he's year 2. Grin

He normally has clean trousers daily, occasionally they'll do 2 days but its once in a blue moon.

We are a jumper down now since the ink experience yesterday so it'll be a stock up at ASDAs at the weekend.
