To use out of date headlice solution on DS?

Just noticed DS has headlice, well so far ive only seen eggs but he has a much needed hair appt tomorrow so I want to be doubly sure and blast his head with some Full Marks but ive just checked the bottle and it says expiry 2010. Would it still work? Would it hurt him?

I am sure it will work - is it not just oil anyway? Sure that's what dimethicone is
