To try for another baby

I am 41 and have a 4 month old baby conceived via fertility treatment....
We would love another baby however I am worried about my age and whether I should be grateful for the beautiful gift of a baby we have....

YANBU - you go for it. 41 really isn't that old.

Why shouldn't you try again? If you want another child, then of course you should try! Why do you need other people's say so on this?

Not if you want another baby, I don't think so. I'm guessing at 41, you have already been through the process of thinking about potential disabilities and whether you want screening and have made such decisions recently. So, I don't personally think this will be any different. Mind you, having another when you have a four month old is pretty brave, your baby must be absolutely gorgeous!

i don't think yabu as long as you're making an informed choice.
you know that risks of certain things become higher the older you get, but that's not necessarily a reason not to have another baby.

I guess I spent the last 7 years saying "if I could only have A baby" and now four months in I'm saying "if only I could have another baby"......
part of me worries I am being greedy and risking spoiling the enjoyment of our DS by focusing on achieving another pregnancy.....

Greedy? Not at all!!! Go for it! If they are be close in age they'll be great company for each other!
