A campsite on Clapham Common for people who are not invited to the Royal wedding.

Who the hell would pay £75 and camp for three nights for a potential 30 second glimpse of Kate M's frock?

Am I the only one who thinks that this is insane?

Have you ever been to Clapham?

Makes perfect sense.

GypsyMoth · 13/03/2011 17:40

meditrina · 13/03/2011 17:41

my thread not good enough Sad ?

MillyR · 13/03/2011 17:44

Why would you go to a wedding if you hadn't been invited?

celticlassie · 13/03/2011 17:44

Sorry. Have never been on Royal Family topic. Blush Which maybe explains why I don't get the campsite thing.

BuzzLiteBeer · 13/03/2011 17:51

theres a royal family topic ? Shock

constantlywrong · 13/03/2011 17:55

The whole thing is just yawn.

Ryoko · 13/03/2011 18:03

Bunch of sado idiots need to get a life, only reason to stand around like a fool watching people of no importance to anything what so ever get married, is if you are intending to throw eggs at the feckless scrounger couple while shouting at them to get a proper job.

Hows about a token gesture form the royal scroungers for the rest of this year give all the public money the royals get to the Red Cross Japan disaster appeal instead.

Choufleur · 13/03/2011 18:05

It does matter. I get an extra day off work. By booking three days off in between the bank hol and the wedding I've got 10 days off!

We're planning to go ...

to Thorpe Park. Where I hope there will be NO reference at all to the wedding. Grin I agree Ryoko.

Ryoko · 13/03/2011 19:45

I bet you five quid they a few TVs in the cafe/fast food areas showing it.

lazarusb · 13/03/2011 19:59

Grin I'll take a flippin picnic if I have to.
I couldn't be less interested!

PaisleyLeaf · 13/03/2011 20:24

Aww
I wish we could camp on Clapham Common for £75 for 3 nights when there wasn't a royal wedding going on.

Hassled · 13/03/2011 20:28

There's a Royal Family topic Shock? Why?

Anyway, I will be watching on the telly where I will get an uninterrupted view of the frock and can judge to my heart's content without the need to bray or think about the interior design of my tent.
