IKEA -best price and nice quality. My boys get whatever is on the bed! In fact 15 year old has a plain blue 30 yr old cover at the mo

I am still reeling that anyone would contemplate spending £70 on a duvet cover--at Ikea you get pillocases too!

When XP and I first moved in together we used to have a black and white set from Matalan - horrible and crunchy though!

The best place I used to get bedding from was Roseby's but have they closed down now?

2madboys · 14/03/2011 10:48

My boys have these www.gltc.co.uk/fcp/product/-/bedroom_furniture_bedding/Sports-Duvet-Set/10000001827 they are 7 and 10, but hoping they're not going to start hating it when they become teenagers.

Muji do fantastic bedlinen- 100% cotton, they do jersey, chambray, alsorts. Nice and neutral but with a design (stripes or something) so not completely plain if you don't want.

I bought 2 sets in 2000 and they still look new- wash and dry really quickly.

The Habitat linen I have has lasted well too- all cotton, still very soft.

noddyholder · 14/03/2011 14:03

Oh yes forgot about muji it is really lovely Am off to have a look at their website Thanks

Ds1and ds2 have plain white bed linen from white company

CaptainNancy · 14/03/2011 14:29

Mmmmm- DD has bedlinen from white company (the embroidered children's stuff)- it is soooo lovely actually, if I ever need to replace ours I will get WC for us too... that said I cannot see when that will be as I have far too much linen that never seems to wear out!

My kids have some funky duvet covers from DECAF Living - rockstar inspired www.decafliving.co.uk/rock-star-bed-linen---red-378-p.asp

And it's 100% cotton.

They love it although they are young but i also did not want the normal cartoons or union jacks etc.

ifancyashandy · 02/07/2011 18:58

John Lewis own brand do nice blues and greys. Plain white sheets fromtheir everyday range and jobs a good 'un.

ifancyashandy · 02/07/2011 19:01

Ooh, and I got a plain white set by Designers Guild at TK Maxx for £50 (cover and 2 x pillowcases) reduced from £120.00
