All white cotton here, the doona cover is Ben 10 at the moment but he is 7 not a teenager.

You don't have to iron cotton, you just have to have low standards and not mind a few wrinkles. I fold them as I am taking them off the line so minimal creasing anyway.

I don't like fitted sheets though as I find they wear out more quickly due to the elastic and also being on the bottom, I don't find it takes any more work to tuck in a flat sheet.

he has t shirt sheets: www.beddingtons.com/p-2072-super-soft-jersey-knit-sheet-sets-and-pillowcases.aspx

and a homemade quilt made by his Nan. And he sometimes throws on a flannel blanket

just normal stuff, white and blue stripes etc.

Why would teenagers need "teenage" bedlinen ?Confused

bruffin · 14/03/2011 08:01

My Ds has black red and white rock and roll with skulls bought in sale in Argos
He has a double quilt as single isn't big enough to keep him covered

withagoat · 14/03/2011 08:03

That sounds horrible.
I just want a design in it.. A lot of the boys stuff is a bit spaffy pale blue

Do teenage boys care what is on their beds? (Apart from preferably a teenage girl?).

DilysPrice · 14/03/2011 08:09

Amnesty are currently flogging cream organic cotton single duvet covers for a tenner in their sale if anyone's interested.

noddyholder · 14/03/2011 08:10

They don't care at all.My ds really wanted one of those sets with the naked bodies on the cover and a blonde dolly bird type of face on the second pillow case! Luckily we never found one. You really can't beat ikea for quality for this age and as they get older they get more unsavoury and need more laundering YUK!

withagoat · 14/03/2011 08:11

Mine likes SOFT

cornsilk678 · 14/03/2011 08:12

rofl noddy - really? Grin I want one with Keanu on then in that case.

cornsilk678 · 14/03/2011 08:14

I was thinking about this very same thing last week and the best quality quilt I've had for my ds's has been a Laura Ashley one. The colours haven't faded and it still feels soft.

cornsilk678 · 14/03/2011 08:16

can't see the single duvet covers on the amnesty site

DumSpiroSpero · 14/03/2011 08:20

Radical thought here perhaps but have you asked your DS what he would like?

DilysPrice · 14/03/2011 08:20

Look under "clearance" and select the organic logo to filter out all the calendars etc.

withagoat · 14/03/2011 08:25

Yesb he looked some of the ideas on here. He wants black geometric it seems

OP posts:
noddyholder · 14/03/2011 08:32

All teenage boys are stuck in the 80s with their geometrics!Grin I didn't know you had a teenager

cornsilk678 · 14/03/2011 08:34

found it thankyou Smile

withagoat · 14/03/2011 08:36

OP posts:
noddyholder · 14/03/2011 08:40

This is what my ds wanted when he was about 14 he thought it was so cool Smile

cornsilk678 · 14/03/2011 08:45

that guy has less body hair than I do

DumSpiroSpero · 14/03/2011 09:12

I have a black & white (and red) geometric when I was a teenager Grin - I guess some things never change.

I just wondered if you'd asked as I've always let my DD pretty much choose what she wants in her room since she was old enough to speak (she's nearly 7 now). But perhaps I'm a bit of a hippy liberal.
