To hope that Geordie builders have small children?

The house opposite is having it's drive done up in some way.

Yesterday I was walking past, 16 mo DD2 in arms, when she decided to pull down my top, expose my bra, and shout "TITTY!"

Now, this child has not been breastfed not for about three months, she has never said "titty" before, and it is not a word we use in our house, so I'm thinking it was just a coincidence, but would the builders have known the ways of small children?

Or should I hide until they have gone?

I would be more concerned about where she has picked up the word "titty" and known the meaning of it.. Confused

I'd be horrified and would hide until they'd gone. Where did she learn that word?

I have no idea! Mostly she says "juice". At everything. Including the wine aisle in the supermarket. Sometimes she varies it by randomly shouting "Yee - Ha!" as her big sister likes to play cowgirls.

I'm pretty sure it was just random babbling, as she has never repeated it. She was pointing and laughing as I got dressed this morning Hmm (and blowing kisses) so she has had plenty of chance...

DD has done this to me, shouting 'boob'. I laughed it off.

Words only have the power we impute them. I shouldn't worry about the builders...

Ha - I thought you were wishing small children on the builder instead of regular-sized ones as some kind of revenge for something - doh!
