Very mundane but riles me every time - these Activia ads. The girl is from the East End of London and has always had an accent, on EastEnders and in real life. But speaks on that bloody ad with a plum in her throat.

So fucking annoying - I am proud of my roots and my accent even if people think I am thick. I hope she realises that I watch those ads and now think she is just completely full of shit.

She sounds like she has got the same cor blimey cockerney accent as she always has imo.

Mind you I don't listen - I just point and laugh at the ghastly jeans.

YANBU, I can't stand her and if you want to be annoyed by her new accent that's fine by me although I agree there are a multitude of other reasons :)

oh yeah those light blue jeans in the ad are terrible make her look really hippy! ( as in larger round the hips than she probably is)

She look bloody enormous in that ad, its certainly not a look which would encourage you to buy the product..

its her teeth that get me, I think she borrowed them from Simon Cowell, they are so so white!

She's just acting, they tell her what they want and she obliges for a monetary reward.

I feel a bit sorry for you if you feel McCutchenson is a mouth piece for the working classes and has failed you miserably

Honestly, those jeans! DH always shouts "camel hoof alert" when she comes on! She kind of looks like she's wearing multiple pairs of pants underneath them. Why have they made such a young and pretty girl wear the kind of jeans you see advertised in the Daily Telegraph?

OliPolly - wasn't criticising her personality but do ask her why she has to talk as if she lives on the "right" side of London - not a dig, argubly I am from the "wrong" side of London
