He turns up... Gets everything wrong, and then the kid tells him what to do!!!

I really really hate him.

Plus I think I've seem every episode about 30 times.

Anyone else being driven crazy!!!!

You are right he is a substandard secret agent at best.

BorisTheBold · 09/03/2011 10:02

I agree. I sing along with the theme tune and drive my girls mad "he's Special Agent Thicko, he's as thick as mince....etc.".

It does make them turn over though Grin.

mrsSOAK · 09/03/2011 10:13

YABU!
We love Special Agent Oso in our house. His bumbling uselessness is endearing.
He's Ooooooutstanding - as Special Agent Woolfie would say Grin

LadyOfTheManor · 09/03/2011 10:25

"He's special agent OSoooo, Special Agent...."

"Three special steps that's all it takes..."

I don't allow my ds to watch television, however my dh, when he gets up, has recorded one episode on Sky +, and lets him watch it on a loop.

I know all the words off by heart, which is tragic.

Jaydles · 09/03/2011 10:38

I totally agree he is the worst secret agent ever...although he is a good babysitter Wink

AmazingBouncingFerret · 09/03/2011 10:39

Special Agent Arsehole more like.

RJRabbit · 09/03/2011 12:05

But [splutter] he's Special Agent Osoooooo, the unique stuffed bear! That line alone gets me through the rest of the programme.

wannabesybil · 09/03/2011 12:17

He can't tie his shoelaces, but they let him out in a high performance sports car...

DS is now on the Octonauts - not that was last month. Captain Mack - thankfully shortlived last week. I think it could be Peppa Pig at the moment, but the wind could change.

Thank goodness!

OliPolly · 09/03/2011 12:21

Oh I cant stand the theme song!

Step 1 BLAH BLAH BLAH!

anythingwithagiraffeonit · 09/03/2011 12:23

I find Mickey Mouse Clubhouse much more agreeable!

OP posts:
PfftTheMagicDragon · 09/03/2011 12:24

Why is it always 3 steps? I don't like teaching children that everything only has 3 parts to it. He's bloody useless!

wannabesybil · 09/03/2011 12:26

Pfft - because they save on the animation, that's why they reuse so many catch phrases and stock animations (songs by the paw pilot are often to similar/same background for different songs).

Thrifty, that's what it is.

littleducks · 09/03/2011 12:26

Ds loves it

I find the James bondesque mission song vaguely amusing. And the fact that onemission is go to the shops and buy apple pie ingrediNts whereas another is to learn to blow your nose. But the still can be broken down into threes special steps

boosmummie · 09/03/2011 12:28

Grin at AmazingBouncingFerret that's exactly what I call him. Can't stand it!

chunkythighs · 09/03/2011 12:30

Never mind oso- Its that bloody fireman Sam you need to keep an eye on. I'm not speaking out of turn when I say the there are only 2 redheads in pontypandy......Norman and Sam......Do I really need to ask 'who's the daddy?' (Though I don't think he's the type to dodge on the child support)

That village doesn't need a firestation- they need a decent house insurance salesman, a policeman and a social worker!

gooseberrybushes · 09/03/2011 12:31

may I just say

hindrance

sorry a thousand times, sorry sorry sorry but I couldn't not

anythingwithagiraffeonit · 09/03/2011 12:32

Littleducks - the apple pie episode is on right now! I swear there are about 10 episodes just repeated to death.

That bird with the pink hair is a pain in the arse as well, you know the one that's just a disembodied head. Her voice is like nails being scraped down a black board

I am so glad we no longer have Sky...

mrsSOAK · 09/03/2011 12:48

Grin @ chunky.
we have discussions in our house about Handy Manny and his relationship with Kelly in the Hardware Shop!

anythingwithagiraffeonit · 09/03/2011 12:51

Kelly is totally in love with him! You see it in the themesong where he barely gives her a glance, and she's all big eyes 'hi manny!!'

Plus she's waiting outside for him! Lol

MrsBloomingTroll · 09/03/2011 12:52

YABU.

You should be watching CBeebies instead. Grin

SardineQueen · 09/03/2011 12:53

Shock Shock Shock

You are ALL being utterly outrageously unreasonable.

Special Agent Oso is fantastic and beloved be all in our household. We can (and do) watch him for HOURS. Sometimes I say to DD "wouldn't it be wonderful if there was someone like special agent oso to come and help the children in this country" and she sighs happily and says "yes" with a dreamy look in her eyes... And then the psychadelic sub-james bond patterns start whizzing around and our eyes glaze over and we're ready for another few hours...

Grin

(Seriously I do think it's great. I find it really funny. )

SardineQueen · 09/03/2011 12:54

Kelly is handy manny's sister you dirty buggers Shock

mrsSOAK · 09/03/2011 12:55

I totally agree anythingwithagiraffeonit, my DH often comments on how Manny never pays for anything. He is convinced there is payment in kind going on, but then he thinks Manny is having 'relations' with most if not all of the ladies in Cheetrock Hills
