Shabby service from CoastwayComputer Services Ltd

AIBU to expect Coastway Computer nServices from Peacehaven in East Sussex to deliver my TV on the day promised ( should have been today actually ) .

I ordered and paid for a LG 42" TV from this firm, delivery was promised for " today" ( no time could be specified, so I gave up a day to stay in for it, and by 4.50 it hadn't arrived.

I rang the company and spoke to the same man who took my order. He assured me he would track my order and either he, or as he was leaving soon , his colleague would ring me back to tell me where my TV was.

No-one rang back, I rang them twice during the evening, leaving a message on the first call, but again no one rang me back. The answerphone relayed the usual " no one here to speak to you " twaddle.

Grrr this is so frustrating, what shabby and off-hand " service " !

Has anyone else had experience of this firm ?

I have tried to leave a comment about this on their Review site, but funnily anough the facility wasn't working, ha!

Oh yes, I've checked with the creditcard people and the money gone through ok, no problems on that side of the deal.

Have sent an email to their customer Services which I hope will be answered tomorrow.

Shall post when I have a reply/satisfaction.

Will be watching this thread with interest as I was considering buying something from them soon but definitely won't if they are as bad as that!! Hope you get a quick resolution to this.

Thanx sheassheas. I've had an email & few phone calls from this firm explaining that their courier didn't delivr TV on promised day as it was found to be ' damaged ' so it went back to warehouse.
Pity the supplier didnt seem fit to inform me despite them having bith my email address & phone number, grrr !
Hopefully it will be delivered today.

Maybe I'll find they've included an HDTV cable ( apparently a necessary extra ) , by way of an apology.

So in the end it my problem with this firm is due to lack of communication and any firm of ' joined up thinking ' / common sense.

The owner of the company apparently was aware of my complaint on the evening when I should have received the TV but he thought 9.30 pm was too late to ring me his explanation , and it seems sending me an email wasn't an option until 9.15 the flollowing morning. As I said earlier , rather an off-hand customer attitude.
So I'm waiting in today for an expected delivery after 1.00.

I do hope it arrives.

Have had to cancel TV order as even though it was delivered Thursday, it went to the WRONG address !
I had double-checked my adress & postcode details, so maybe the error was with the courier company.
So frustratingand annoying..
Shall have to re- order now, after two wasted days tied to the house waiting for theis to come, grrr!
