My eyesight is not deteriorating, but the quality of print these days is atrocious.

My waistline is not getting bigger, but due to the state of the economy the manufacturers are using less material in the waistbands.

It only takes me longer to walk to the shop because the distance has become longer - something to do with decimalisation and the EU.

All the stuff they are adding to our water these days is making my hair turn grey.

I am far too happy therefor I have lots of laughter lines.

Global warming has caused gravity to become a lot stronger.

So, AIBU to believe that if the above mentioned issues were solved I will be 19 again?

I'm sure you're right.

They've done something to shop windows and mirrors so that every time I glance into them I see my mother.

You've just diagnosed my problems in one! I could have worked it out for myself - but the additives they put in tea, sugar and milk must be addling my brain so I can't think!

My mother keeps appearing in the most unexpected places too - except she seems to have got a lot chunkier!!

I agree with the eye thing. It took until I went for an eye test for me to realise print really wasn't getting smaller!
I couldn't believe the difference when I got my first pair of glasses. It was like Wow a miracle, I can see!
