To wish I could afford more childcare for dd!

Ok... Dd is 15 months and has been going to nursery for about 5 months 3 afternoons a week so I can get in and do some work, ideally I would like her there a minimum of 3 whole days upto 5 whole days but we simply cannot afford it...

Today I had to be in uni all day (teaching this monrning - unpaid, grrrrr, on top of my usual afternoon phd work) and so I had to pay £30.50 to add the morning session on and I dropped her off just after 8. I picked her up just before 5 and she was in a lovely mood, had had fun, had slept for an hour and a half (she never sleeps there usually!) and had eaten really well. She loved it there! I really wish we could afford to put her in more as I managed to get so much done today and am in such a good mood as I was able to be a normal worker today!!!!

Aibu to be so sad that I can't do this more often?

YANBU at all. It must be quite difficult to juggle phd with just 3 afternoons per week and 15 mth old child!

Could you increase it to full day one day per week, or even one full day every 2 weeks?
