Ive been seperated for just over 2 years. No proper relationships during this time.
A few one night stands, a FB.. lots of dates with internet losers and a longstanding not happening relationship ( friendship)

last month i had the worst date in the world and then last week i was duped by someone else.

I did have another date lined up for next week, but ive just realised i dont want to go. I just cannot be bothered with any of it.

Im fine on my own.. im used to it.I dont want to be dating.

I've been on my own for 17 years and love it. Life is so much easier and I don't miss 'love' in any shape or form!

From your OP you don't sound particularly happy about it but I think you're doing the right thing by giving up the dating lark.

I've always been a firm believer in fate. I'm sure you'll meet someone once you stop 'looking' Smile

oh i am. I think it was the dating that was making me not enjoy it.
or online dating in any case.

Ive just decided to give it up. And i feel like a whole weight has been lifted. its just sort of accepting that its ok to be single and not even looking.

Imagine having to share your space, when you decide you want an early night having to think about somebody else?

Wanting to spend the whole day in pj's lounging around watching movies and not being able to because you share a home? or it is expected you will be avaialable to see.

Its the having to think about someone else.
