I went to the X-Factor Live tour at Wembley Arena today with a friend. It was mainly to perv over the luscious Matt Cardle Grin

Thing is, we both ended up quite giddy at the emergence of One Direction!!

They really are rather very good and are very hansome chaps indeed!

AIBU to fancy them (just a little bit), despite being 33 years old Grin

Not unreasonable to fancy a teenager but seriously unreasonable to go to X-Factor!!! Grin

worraliberty · 06/03/2011 23:39

Did you rub your knees Vic Reeves stylee? Grin

SpermyShenanigans · 06/03/2011 23:42

YAB a bit U to fancy Matt Cardle.

One Direction however, well, you are probably just young enough to appreciate their youthful charms except for Harry who let it be known to all and sundry that he is a precocious twat with his "pussy" comment.

I suppose that fact that I felt very sorry for his mother sums up how I feel about boys of that age Grin

FabbyChic · 06/03/2011 23:43

You fancy children? Not all of them are good looking.

worraliberty · 06/03/2011 23:44

No I know some really ugly children but at least their mothers love 'em Grin

JeremyVile · 06/03/2011 23:44

Blergh.
They look like children still. Bland, precocious ones at that.

AnyoneForABaileys · 06/03/2011 23:45

It was a giggle! My friend was given the tickets as a gift. She ummed and ahh'd about going but we thought 'what the heck'! They were free so we might as well.

It was rather a good show - especially One Direction Grin

Feel a little bit naughty to be perving over 18 year old boys Blush

No rubbing of knees worra - THAT would have been pervy Shock

worraliberty · 06/03/2011 23:48

Then as you showed self knee rubbing restraint my verdict is not guilty Grin

squeakytoy · 06/03/2011 23:53

Eughh no, they are all little boys.... leave them to the 10yr old girls to dream about...

FudgeGirl · 06/03/2011 23:54

They're really 18? We've got a 19-year-old - he makes them look about 11.

Yuk.

AnyoneForABaileys · 06/03/2011 23:55

worra Thank you your Honour - may I be dismissed? Grin

I guess fancy is the wrong word. When you see these fellas up close from 3 rows away - you appreciate how handsome they are - they sure know how to work a crowd as well!

Must have absorbed to much of the teenage girlie hormones that were stifling the arena Wink

Oh to be a teenager again! (I was squealing at Take That at the age of 14)!

NettoSuperstar · 06/03/2011 23:58

I look at them and fancy them as my 16yr old self, but the thought of doing anything now appals me and gives me the shudders.
They are very cute though, DD loves Harry.

AnyoneForABaileys · 07/03/2011 00:04

NettoSuperstar I think you've hit the nail on the head there! That is EXACTLY what it is - the last time I went to Wembley Arena was to see Take That about 15 ago - I guess it was like a form of regression - I certainly felt like a young teenager again for a couple of hours! It brought back lots of lovely squealy memories Smile

OP posts:
NettoSuperstar · 07/03/2011 00:15

Yep, I thought I might fancy them and was a tad worried, until I realised that I do, but only in my memories of being a teenager.
Faced with it now, I'd tell them to get a decent haircut and make sure they've washed properly, plus want to make sure they'd had a decent meal before the concert!
I'm 33 too and feel old!

SpermyShenanigans · 07/03/2011 00:22

I'd tell them to pull their bloody trousers up and get their hair out of their eyes.

As a teenager however I'd want to hold hands or something.

That's all I wanted to do when I hearted George Michael when I was thirteen. Just as well really.

AnyoneForABaileys · 07/03/2011 00:28

Arrrggghh! The trousers! Now that does irritate me! Why have your bum hanging out? I don't understand!

Good grief - now I really feel my age!

SpermyShenanigans · 07/03/2011 00:31

I wonder if men aged 40+ on car or football forums have off-topic discussions saying that Girls Aloud should scrub all that muck off their faces and wear nice high-necked dresses with a decent hemline...
