Anyone out there with Vodaphone?

Is there a problem as I have had no service for 24 hours?

My Dbro says their office was broken into - anyone with info?

Not AIBU but not sure where to post this.

I guess its a local problem. I'm with them in Edinburgh and fine.

Hi, Not on Vodafone but I heard there was a problem with their signal on Thursday and no one had any all day, has it only been the last 24 hours?

They wer broken into about a week ago. Im down south and had no signal all day last Monday, and lots of people I know were experiencing the same. It's been fine since tuesday though.

But sometimes turning a phone off and on again can help!

The exchange, or whatever you call it in Basingstoke was broken into recently and service suspended.

They were broken into however I had no signal all week, and the same last month. They were very good about it credited my account. Think the problem was related to the local mast, I am near Bristol

I'm with them, not had a problem at all, ever. Even when in Bulgaria last week Grin HTH.

Yes it was Basingstoke office - I'm Portsmouth so very near there. I too lost signal Monday but it came back. Tried turning phone on/off etc. Nothing.

Then suddenly it asked me to select a network so it did and its working again Hmm

PinkIce Hope you had a lovely holiday. Grin

At least I can get emergency calls when its not working - DS is anylphalatic and I'd stay home otherwise - a waste of a sunny day!!

My signal disappeared from late Friday to pm saturday. I am near Basingstoke.

Ah ha, probably related then. My Dbros friend on vodaphone,2 here and 1 in Basingstoke have all lost service at some point over the weekend.

I'm 9 miles from Sunny Basingstoke. I'm on Orange. The winds 3 weeks ago knocked a mast off line, another is being maintained apparently. I have zero signal, unless my phone is kept in the hallway. Feels like the 1970s with the phone calls in the draughty hall..

It'll be like this until 18th March apparently, when they fix it Hmm
