To wonder how I'm going to get my hands on my World Book Night books?

When they are being delivered today to a tiny library in an adjoining village that's only open on Wednesdays?
Has anyone else had trouble getting their books to distribute?

I think all the deliveries are really late anyway- much as I love the idea, this year is obviously suffering from some real teething problems! My books were apparently delivered today (to local bookshop) - but I only found out as I rang them .... no email or 'owt...

Which one have you got? I'm on the reserve list so I could get any of them. I wonder how many have made it out on time?

My mums where supposed to be delievered to a local library by today - they never turned up

I got mine yesterday but the shop had been having problems with books wrongly addressed - they got a box that should have been in Exeter...we're in Glasgow...it won't be in Exeter by tomorrow that's for sure.

Well, two people have given me copies already, collected from Waterstones (?) earlier this week. And DH's friend gave him one yesterday, so I guess some are getting distributed.

What's everyone getting? My friends gave me Dissolution and the Carol Duffy poems, and DH has the the Stange Tale of the Dog in the Night-time.

You would think there would be some kind of way of distributing the books to libraries through local councils or something. I suppose teething problems are inevitable the first time!

I'm spending tomorrow morning sticking labels with the Bookcrossing numbers in them (48 copies of One Day).

A leetle bit annoying that they only emailed the numbers out yesterday, but I've not been very organised about the whole thing either, and I guess it's all teething trouble.

I've got 48 copies of A Fine Balance (and god, its a wonderful book - honestly, I can't rave enough!). I've found homes for 35ish, and am going to wander the streets with the rest Grin
