..otherwise I am too lazy busy to prioritise it?

Does anyone else do this?

Yep! (actually, DH does most of the tidying. Result!)

I hate it when visitors are imminent and i have to clean tidy up.

House work and i just don't seem to get along.

moonstorm · 02/03/2011 22:39

I do it

psychoveggie · 02/03/2011 22:40

Do it. Always works for me- otherwise I am a slattern. Make sure you've got somewhere to put clutter though and it doesn't just get dumped in the least conspicuous place... Or is that just me?

BertieBotts · 02/03/2011 22:40

Sounds like something I would do!

I keep working on trying to keep it tidy for me but I just forget. Doesn't seem to matter unless people are coming over. Even then I will do the minimum required - I don't know what is wrong with me.

Yes. Blush

That is my strategy.

And if the children's bedrooms are really messy, I have just discovered that getting somebody they barely know to babysit is a great way of getting the children to tidy up. Smile

I invited my Mum to stay so that OH would finish decorating the spare room. He loves my Ma so I knew it would be done in time Grin
