To hate the threads telling me to go on unanswered messages?

I.E "There's 102 unanswered messages!! Come on MN let's answer them!!"

I will answer them if I damn well CAN...or want to! But don't TELL me too!

YABU. Unless there is some sort of surveillance and recording device in your computer, nobody will know if you haven't visited.

Unless the thread is titled 'MILKNOSUGARPLEASE - I command you to go to Unanswered Threads and work your way through them' - YABU Grin

Nobody is commanding anyone - certainly not you personally Grin

They are saying 'hey people, there's lots of mners out there who are asking for help/support/a chat and it's gone unnoticed. Anyone who wants to help? That would be nice of you'

YABU - lots of people don't look in Unanswered Threads, and so they lie there - a little reminder to go take a look and see if you can help someone isn't unkind. Don't go look if you don't feel like it.

I usually take a look from time to time - but quite often they are all unanswered becaue they are too obscure for me! But if lots of people look, hopefully the combined knowledge of MN can be some help.
