to be annoyed that most fan sites on Facebook end up in slanging matches

AIBU to wonder why people bother to like something on Facebook and then just go on there and moan about the company/service/anything they like.
I know Facebook is supposed to be a platform for discussing opinions but most of the time it just ends up in childish fights between people.
The worst one of all at the mo is M&S I have pressed the unlike button because I got fed up of seeing the same stuff over and over again.
Why do people waste their energy and time on Facebook arguing with other people?

Same reason as people post stuff on here.

But people discuss stuff on here. On Facebook it seems to be more agressive and personal.

I think things get very heated on here. People launch in with very little tact. I used to think it was awful and read the threads in horror - but somehow you kind of get into it!!
