Well I have to say that I agree with altinkum.
The OP is obviously trying very hard to upset people (and that in itself is stupid).
Using the term 'smackhead' out of context is ignorant beyond belief.
I wonder what the OP actually knows about heroin abuse?

Thank you Tee-I'm rather ashamed of being a technophobe actually.I hate the fact that at my age these things seem so much more complicated than they are for others-my 7 yr old dgs is more competent at some computer stuff than I am.

Tee-the problem wasnt the typing-its knowing what to type!You have helped with that.I dont know how to change my email address either.My dh is even less competent than me[he is nearly 75].I used his name in the email address which appears to result in junk mail about Viagra!

Meditrina -have you ever updated your iPhone software?
Cut and paste wasn't originally possible on the iphone3, but it came in with the 3.0 software version in the summer of 2009.
You can find out which version you have by going to Settings-General-About & looking under Version.

If you haven't got version 3.0 or higher, you won't be able to cut and paste, if you have, you should be able to.

I'm not sure if you could now update to 3.0, you might have to go straight to 4.2, which is the latest version & which I would be wary of putting on an iPhone 3G - I haven't risked it on my old one which DD now has though it seems to be OK on the 3GS.

Wow. I work in HCI (that's human computer interaction if you are not familiar with our many 3 letter acronyms (also known as TLAs))

Anyway. How interesting that you blame the posters and not Mumsnet. Surely if lots of people get it wrong, the problem is with the method, not the people.

Mumsnet? How did linking score in your usability study? Which you did do, I assume?
