YouGoGlennCoco you are so fucking out of order.
My DD is a 'smack addict'

DoubleNegativePanda · 27/02/2011 14:46

Medtrino, I have an iPhone 3 and it does copy and paste. Just hold your finger on a word until the little bubble pops up that says "select/select all". You'll get the hang of it.

YouGoGlennCoco · 27/02/2011 14:47

oh fgs
i am sure you have more to worry about then that this

OP posts:
DoubleNegativePanda · 27/02/2011 14:48

Excuse me, Meditrina

BreconBeBuggered · 27/02/2011 14:49

Oh, no, I'm upset now. I have a kiddy keyboard with no square brackets, and my attempts at posting links here by other methods have been a right cock-up. I can post links on other sites. I'd better slink off then, OP, what with having failed the IQ test.

Flounce.

Admittedly, I am actually thick, but very sensitive about it.

Bloodymary · 27/02/2011 14:51

Plenty to worry about thanks very much, just having an afternoon on MN while my DGD is on a playdate. OK with you?

Tortington · 27/02/2011 14:51

just clocked on who the op is, should have known really.

YouGoGlennCoco · 27/02/2011 14:51

DoubleNegative: that does not/not work on my iPhone. The bubble does not/not appear. I'm PMing Tee2072 to see if anything from her helpline experience can point me in the right direction of a fix. Can you suggest anything?

Rannaldini · 27/02/2011 14:55

Who is the OP then, come on spill Smile

miniwedge · 27/02/2011 15:23

The op is a fraek Grin

QuickLookBusy · 27/02/2011 15:32

is that a clue?? Sorry I need more.

pranma · 27/02/2011 15:37

Does that method of posting a link work everywhere or just on mumsnet?I'd love to be able to include links in some emails. And how do you direct someone to a particular item-eg a book on Amazon?
OP if no one tells you how you cant learn how to do it-no morons involved-that's a bit rude actually-uncalled for as we old ladies say :)

Rannaldini · 27/02/2011 15:37

the op is the person who started the thread

Tee2072 · 27/02/2011 15:49

pranma that's for MN.

Most places, including email, will either do it automatically if you put the whole url, i.e. www.mumsnet.com

would get you www.mumsnet.com

or if you use HTML:

Mumsnet

would give you: Mumsnet

PerArduaAdNauseum · 27/02/2011 17:09

That's just showing off now Tee

Tee2072 · 27/02/2011 17:14
Grin
HecateQueenOfWitches · 27/02/2011 17:19

I've also started a thread on this a time or two Grin

YANBU

It is not difficult.

If the person said "here's the address, I'd do a link but I can't be arsed to type [[ round either side of it, that would at least be honest!

Becuse if you are using the computer (as opposed to phone etc where I think it may be a bit tricky?), and you have got the other page open that you want us to look at, you have the ability to copy, you have the ability to paste and you have the key [, so you CAN BLOODY WELL LINK!!!

What you can't do, is be arsed to take a minute to work out how to do it. Grin
