and put him in mine so I can cuddle in to him?

dh is away, he has slept in my bed the last couple of nights.
I wish I'd put him in there tonight
He is sooooooooooo snuggly.
He's 3.

YANBU if he's the kind of kid who will sleep through being moved.

I am co-sleeping with my 7 month old and I love it, she is the best at snuggling.

YANBU but be warned you may have a difficult time getting him back in his own bed once DH is home again.

I made this mistake once with my then 4 year old and the months of her screaming through the night means I will never do it again.

I understand why you would want to however, I am the same. Now have a nice big teddy bear instead for when OH is away.

There like little hot water bottles, really snuggly, luckily ds will sleep back in his own bed no bother after a few nights in mine.

well we are going on hols next week, so i thought he's going to be disrupted anyway.....
he would sleep through anything, the last couple of mornings I have been in the shower, even dried my hair (ensuite bathroom) and he hasn't budged!!

I'll leave him, I'm shattered and if he wakes up he might want to play in the wardrobes!

My DH is a postie, so DD nips in for a snuggle more or less every morning from 5am - it's a couple of precious hours snoozing together before work/school. She's been doing it for years and is now 15, so we're making the most of it. She don't half nick the duvet and kick, though! Grin

lol i did this with my then 2yr old,oh had to go to work for staff meeting altho he was off work baby 2 was due,ds1 got in bed,i rolled over and thought ewwwww hes wet the bed, slowly as my brain kicked in i thought its too low down for that,my waters had broken lol!!

FabbyChic · 24/02/2011 00:04

Id get him out!

there can never be an effective arguement against having your DS in bed with you to snuggle. My two regularly sneak in during the night for a cuddle then sneak back into their own beds....

two footed wee hotwater bottles - mmmmmm

Awww this is so beautiful [welling up emoticon] x

My dh works away Mon-Fri and dd (12) snuggles up with me when he's not here. I'm making the most of it because she'll be far too grown up in a flash.

Well I was dressed when he woke up this morning. He wasn't happy, "put your jarmies on and cuddle me" he said!!
So lovely!
