I'd ask my boss "what the hell are you doing???"

ethelina · 23/02/2011 11:51

"How do you rate your people skills?"

(Because i'm damn sure she hasn't got any)

poptyping1 · 23/02/2011 11:55

GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 11:56

You do realise everyone laughs at your combover?

ethelina · 23/02/2011 12:00

What would you ask Gabby? Assuming you have a boss of any kind?

poptyping1 · 23/02/2011 12:02

Why did you drink and drive 3 times over the limit and got a 12 month ban?

poptyping1 · 23/02/2011 12:02

GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 12:03

HerBeX · 23/02/2011 12:04

Fancy a shag darlin'?

(He is a Bit of All Right in my defence)

GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 12:06

popytyping....He/shestroke she should have got at least a two year ban for being 3 times over limit. Was it a wangle? "Gabby"

OP posts:
GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 12:07

herbex....You mean after working hours, I presume. "Gabby"

OP posts:
ethelina · 23/02/2011 12:07

Aah Gabby you give yourself away. Why is it not a logical sentence?

poptyping1 · 23/02/2011 12:08

12 months because of his job ...plus fines etc

GwendolineMaryLacey · 23/02/2011 12:08

Whose idea was it for you to take over line management of me and when was this decided because I don't believe for a moment that it wasn't planned all along.

And do you realise that every time you criticise the way I do something, you criticise my old line manager who is a gem. It's not professional behaviour.

Now leave me alone and stop hovering over me. I have done this job for many year. I know it inside out. You don't.

GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 12:09

combover...I wear a hat and it solves the "combover" problem. Tell your boss. (No, maybe not) "Gabby"

OP posts:
GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 12:12

Ethelina,

Because I think I know what you mean; but I dont think you are saying it. (anyway a lot of grammar is a matter of opinion, but teachers dont tell you that) cheers "Gabby"

'Tell me a funny story!'

My boss is hilarious and whenever I go over to the office, we go out for dinner every night and sink a load of wine.

GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 12:14

Gwendoline. Great post. Hope your boss improves. "Gabby"

OP posts:
GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 12:15

5-Dollar ....Aren,t you lucky to have a boss like that "Gabby"

OP posts:
ethelina · 23/02/2011 12:16

Its not grammatical, or logical, but it is colloquial. I agree grammar is mostly opinion, in 100 years time the rules will be different again.

However, I would be interested to know your personal response to the question in your OP:

What would you like to ask your boss?

GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 12:18

popytyping. It was a very lenient sentence, what more can I say.

OP posts:
ScaredOfCows · 23/02/2011 12:18

Gabby why do you want to know?
