Ch 4 tv Kings Speech (9pmm today)

This seems to be a documentary inspired by the successful film of the same name.

It wont be the same;but it is on the same subject. I assume the will use a lot of archive film .

Channel 4s docs are often good. "Gabby"

GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 11:51

Just what I needed following a fall down the stairs. A sanity check. Thanks "Gabby".

coraltoes · 23/02/2011 12:31

FluffyMummy123 · 23/02/2011 12:40

I bloody LOVE " gabby"
i want ot hug and squeeze her

try reading wiki on the film - it tells you some background

hocuspontas · 23/02/2011 13:14

Now I'm completely confused. I thought Gabby was a boring male who liked signing off in an odd way.

GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 13:17

Stop the buggering about. Are you going to watch the prog at 9PM?

And did you see the film? "Gabby"

PS Mrs Northman are you in trouble?

GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 13:29

icod

It depends what "IT" is sunshine. I think you have a mean minded reason for being so personal and nasty. (I get enough of that from Dave Cameron)

lolol

you are funny

GabbyLoggon · 23/02/2011 13:44

Getor moi

I am not responsible for you being unable to read and rationalise.

Did you have unhappy experiences at the school you went to.? (Or maybe played truant from.)

Seriously: there is a problem with teaching reading in this country. (And we spend fortunes on teachers.)And end up with high illiteracy rates.

why? "Gabby"

PurveyorOfWoo · 23/02/2011 13:49

Gabby, you are a spark of pure light on a dreary February day.

I shall watch the doc BTW, think the 'real' footage will be interesting (in a way Colin Firth is entirely incapable of being)

kreecherlivesupstairs · 23/02/2011 14:01

Gabby, you seem to have a been in your bonnet about truancy. You challenged me on it a couple of days ago.

GetOrfMoiLand · 23/02/2011 14:43

Getor Moi

I love that - gives me a french feel.

"I am not responsible for you being unable to read and rationalise"

lol

BarbaraSeville · 23/02/2011 14:47

I thought the film was rather good, but I couldn't get over the inaccuracies. The Queen Mother's teeth were far worse even that Helena Bonham-Carter's. "Babs"

ViolaTricolor · 23/02/2011 17:27

It's not 'of the same' name, it's called 'The Real King's Speech'. Next week they are showing 'The Real Real King's Speech'. Etc.

kaid100 · 23/02/2011 18:38

Thanks for reminding me about the programme, I nearly forgot!
