to expect MN to 'keep me logged in until I log out'

I don't have any kind of 'cookie deleter' or anything weird going on.
I just come back to MN, always have a tab open for it, not closing it entirely and sometimes I have been logged out, even though every time I log in I tick the keep me logged in box....
Bugs me as I have it customised so that OP's are highlited and the sticky posts are ignored Hmm
Does this happen to anyone else, or is there a gremlin? Grin

First ever AIBU so have kept it (hopefully) non contentious!

Yanbu.

This winds me up too.

Duna · 22/02/2011 12:45

YANBU, I've no idea why either.

StealthPolarBear · 22/02/2011 12:46

Mine used to do this - it was to do with the RAM of the laptop, was basically a hardware fault

HettyAmaretti · 22/02/2011 12:48

YANDBU. Sounds extremely irritating.

I've never had that happen. I can quit my browser and turn off the computer and am still logged in when I come back. Never an issue.

Use Firefox on Mac (leopard) if that's relevant.

HettyAmaretti · 22/02/2011 12:49

Or, indeed, YADNBU.

It happens on my iPhone occasionally, maybe about once a month. Never on my laptop which is about 8 years old and very very slow.
