I have a friend who is a recovering alcoholic. She is very brave and has been clean for a while. She has just named DD 'Bevy' - not short for anything...just Bevy. Is she having a laugh?

You probably need to ask her. I'm not sure how anyone here would know?

kreecherlivesupstairs · 21/02/2011 12:37

Odd choice of name, but her choice.

thenightsky · 21/02/2011 12:38

people will think it is short from Beverly I would imagine.

Baggypussy · 21/02/2011 12:46

I don't know if she's having a laugh, but she's certainly made me smile!Grin..think I may call my next DD 'Nymphy'.

twirlymum · 21/02/2011 13:01

Mine would be choccy. Oh no, wasn't that a terrible horror film or something?

She could've gone with the more traditional Stella.

Thingumy · 21/02/2011 16:07

fatlazymummy · 21/02/2011 18:09

Perhaps she could have gone with Bailey, Tia maria or Remy [Martin]

DirtyBit · 21/02/2011 19:11

I volunteered at a primary school, one of the children was called Tequila.

gapbear · 21/02/2011 20:39
