who really ought to have had breakfast nearly two hours ago but for some blessed reason is still snoozing on my chest? Agh! I'm interfering with his little baby routine! And there's so much housework to do today with DH abroad...

Nah.

Oh I loved mornings like this when my two were tiny!

Enjoy! It really is brilliant isn't it? x

I think snuggling in bed with baby is absolutely wonderfull.

My 'baby' came in for a snuggle this am while dh made a cuppa.

DD is 4.9yrs and loves to cuddle in bed.

Yes, but the house is a tip and when he's awake baby (7 months) won't let me put him down! Will just have to strap him to me like a kalahari bushwoman - my those ladies work hard!

"Mummy mummy say hello to Fimbo/Uki/Rabbit and bear!"

"Would you like to watch "Mr Bloom's nursery?"
"Yes!"

As someone who was up at half six with a three year old demanding his 'breakSTAST', no YANBU

Little beggar's awake now and wants the iPhone while still feeding in a desultory fashion and SINGING on the nipple.
