Why is it not a good idea?

TragicallyHip · 19/02/2011 23:05

Eh?

Confused - all 3 of my DS's at 2yrs old enjoyed snuggled up with me on the sofa and watching a DVD

DS3 is now 3 - and we have a monthly "DVD night" with pizza, lights out, and them all squished onto a sofa with a blanket, adn their PJ's on - they love it!

winnybella · 19/02/2011 23:06

Why not? If it's age appropriate/short...DD just turned 2 and loves Noddy, Dora, Maisy Mouse...

Grin Stayfrosty. Every time you tell DS "Well done!" he says "Easy as pie!" - from Peppa Pig (Daddy Pig)!

EightiesChick · 19/02/2011 23:10

As long as age appropriate, then, blimey, it could be so much worse. My DS watches Pixar films only but loves them, and does so at the end of a day in which he has also been playing outdoors, drawing, reading etc. Now if we're talking The Terminator or Indecent Proposal, clearly that's different.

How strange to post a thread title and a link, but not to elaborate on why its a bad idea Hmm

Hmm. It was possibly wrong for me to let DD watch Toy Story on loop for 3 hours while I finished some work and a uni assignment the other night but needs must etc... In principle, YABU.

CrispyCakeHead · 20/02/2011 08:02

If it's bad form to start a thread about a thread.....is it even worse form to start a thread about a thread on another forum? Hmm

YABU. My 2yo loves watching films (although he can get a bit bored midway) and is currently watching "cloudy with a chance of meatballs".

Lollypolly · 20/02/2011 08:10

We took DCs to the cinema last month - saw Tangled and it was DD2's first proper film - she's 2.5 and loved it almost as much as DD1 who is 6.
