It is much too short for a woman of 46! Really it is. And quite outrageous as it happens. But bugger me, there isn't much left to show off and my legs are pretty damned good (though I say it myself as didn't oughta).

And MIL kept subtly looking at my legs and averting her eyes. It was funny.

I asked DH is I looked like an aged herbivore in the clothing of a mere stripling of a sheep, and he said no. And my DC weren't embarrassed to be seen with me so I think I was within my rights.

At any point did you turn around, bend down and reveal a significant lack of undegarmens? no?

MIL is very nice really. I get on well with her in the small doses neccessary. But I get fed up sometimes of being seen as the good, sensible, reliable one. I even had to provide the birthday cakes for her bloody 70th inspite of her having 3 children living nearbyish. And I am taking her to the opening ceremony of the Olympics (if I can get a ticket for us both) because she was born nearby and it's important to her and her bloody kids can't be arsed )

I think it´s not your age but the state of your legs that determines whether or not it´s ok.

Those legs are no longer mine! I have put on 2 stone since that photo was taken. But I have to say the legs have got away with it really. As long as I don't expose my arse or belly we'll all be OK

No! I was 43 when I filled it out. But the age has increased as has the weight but neither have been updated. Am I supposed to change my age manually - I thought it worked it out for me.

As it happens I have just about reached the age when you have a temptation to say 'I'm 46 y'know!'

People should always wear what they want and as king as they are happy in it that's all that matters!

I will be flashing my legs for as long as I can get away with it, seeing that the tummy, boobs and upper arms now require some degree of camoflauge
