Anyone else pissed off with all the Vote For Me Threads?

I don't mind when it is someone who contributes to MN in other ways but I'm so fed up of people creating an account just to ask for votes.

I dont come on here much so not seen any of these but its not on really is it

The latest (In the for free section ) has bloody annoyed me. I clicked her link and voted for the other lady .

Don't mind voting for someone who is a regular on here but would resent someone signing up just to ask for votes.

It annoys me too. The For Free section has been used a lot recently for the wrong reasons. I am forever reporting things there.

The threads must have passed me by. Cannot say I've noticed any.

whats the individual gain in votes?why do they ask

sm, they are usually asking for votes in an internet singing competition and the like.

oh those ones are usually really bad singers.
