Parent's evening is on the 17th Feb. I know this because I have internet access and can look on the website. For those who don't use a computer there was a letter sent out today to remind us parent's evening is Thursday but still no appointments.

They also informed us in the letter that Friday is now an INSET day and not the day they break up for half term.

They are cutting it a bit fine, aren;t they. Ours are in March and we've already got our appointments.

Are you sure there are no appts made?

Perhaps you just turn up and wait ? We get a full timetable but dc are older and we see a varied seletcion of staff ofr 5 mins each.

DDs primary had a sign-up sheet, it was up to parent/child to book an appointment at a suitable time. Does your school usually tell you when to come - I can't see how that'd work well for most people Confused

Yes they usually send a note home saying what time the appointment is. It's usually between 3:30 and 6pm.

Blimey, in that case YANBU - assuming there's no scope for your DC to have lost the note.

I wouldn't have thought so. Any notes get put in his book bag which is kept on his peg. At the end of the day the teacher takes the children to the school hall along with bags and hands them over to the taxi escort, then I collect him off the taxi and get given his bag by the escort.

Am going to have to ring the school, perhaps they just forgot to put a note in his bag or put it in someone elses?
