My DC spend the entire school run arguing, the bottle of wine i have popped in the fridge for this evening looks so inviting....

You're late having breakfast, unless you are in foreign parts.
IIWY, I'd go for elderflower cordial and sparkling water and save the vino for a more reasonable time. (when they come out of school and the arguing starts again)

No no no! Get some champagne and fresh OJ

BlessedAssurance · 15/02/2011 12:37

:o absolutely nothing wrong in that.

tulpe · 15/02/2011 12:37

Disagree with Ormirian - don't waste good champagne by diluting with orange juice Wink

YANBU to want to have wine alongside your cornflakes but YABVVU if you want to put wine on top of your cornflakes as a substitute for milk. That would be wrong, very wrong.

Fair enough tulpe!

Wine on cornflakes, Vodka in tea, puke in bush.

Then meet kids from school ...

The French dunk their bread in wine - cornflakes? not such a big leap. Tres British.

PearlBarley · 15/02/2011 18:18

Does she have to puke in her bush? Difficult to explain to DH when drunk.
