Shes 5 and im a lone parent.
She has picked up on the fact that its valentines day ( lord knows how) and that is for telling somone you love them.
She was a bit upset yesterday as she had forgotten to do me a card. So i said i would get some craft stuff in my lunch hour and we could make each other a card when she gets home from school and then go to pizza hut for tea.

My mother, and work collegues seem to think im insane.

No, that sounds lovely. I'd do it another night though, eating out on Valentine's is not fun!

What a fantastic idea. I think it's a wonderful way to spend the afternoon/evening together. And it also shows that having anyone to love makes you lucky :-)

Darn you now I'm all welling up with 'aaahhh'ness. Sound's as though I'd have had a better night out at Pizza Hut with your DD than I did with my DH!

Have fun. Smile
