Sorry you feel so crap.

If you felt you were doing well, is there any reason your Dr has prescribed a stronger tablet?

reinitindear · 12/02/2011 01:02

Hi
So why did you feel you were doing well? focus on those reasons and also realise that it is mostly a chemical thing and the doctor needs to get the correct dose in order to help you.If you like tell us what areas you were doing well in? and in which you are still struggling.

i scored worse on the score sheet.

i am a long way off from being able to control my depression.

the gp did say that it was because i have felt better in just a few days and the amount of time i have been on medication that i needed stronger tablet, but it is still a blow

Can I ask how long you have been on medication? If it is a short amount of time this could actually be a good thing.

What medincine have they given you?

FabbyChic · 12/02/2011 11:33

Sorry you are feeling so low, the increased doseage will help but it takes a few weeks for them to kick in.

I take 150mg a day but different pills have different effects.

They have made me so much better, and I get no side effects.

I would rather take pills than sit in a corner crying for days on end because I could not cope.

Having spent since puberty on anti-depressants, I look on it the same as diabetes, heart problems, or needing anti-biotics. It is exactly the same - the chemicals in your brain are not kicking in and you need help. You wouldn't hesitate if you had diabetes, so please please don't feel down about it.
