For being in a mood with my jeans?

My DD is 3 months old this week, and after working very hard to lose the baby weight, have been chuffed to bits that my size 14s are hanging off my arse.
Cue shopping trip for new jeans today, feeling pretty confident i'd be back in my pre-pregnancy 12.
Alas... After a while of twirling and whirling in the Primark changing room, i have come home with a pair of 16s that are fairly snug.

I feel like these jeans are mocking me and am tempted to cover them in Weight Watchers beef hotpot and indulge in a bottle of wine to get my own back.Grin

AIBU in thinking that it would be lovely if sizing wasn't so bloody depressing? (I am fully aware IABU in both shopping in Primark and the punishment i wish to inflict on my jeans.)

Cut the label out. Primark are well known for the jeans being small. They must be, as I have EXACTLY the same sizing issue with every other shop too though Grin

Doesn't help that I was with my skinny cow sister who was complaining that she couldn't find a 6... Hmm
On a scissor hunt now though, glad to know I'm not the only one Grin
