To drop hints about Valentines Day?

Hint might actually be a lie, DP not great with hints . I've actually told him straight that he needs to organise a night out

why dont you organise it :)

YABU if you drop him a hint, if he is anything like my DH he doesn't get hints (even when I tell him I am hinting)

If you want a night out, organise a night out!!

Don't drop hints, it won't work and you'll end up feeling disappointed and he won't know what he's done wrong.

But if that's what you want then just tell him or organise it yourself.

I'm not normally mad for Valentine's but it's about time we had a night out together. We have 3 month old twins and although we've been out a few times with them for dinner. I'd really like a night out for us, SIL will baby sit.
I organise everything, just like to be surprised for once, not DP bashing, I love him loads. He is just not super thoughtfull in regards to b day, xmas etc.

If you want a nice night out then I wouldn't go on Valetine's Day when everywhere is packed. I think it's for new couples who need to impress with the Valentine thing.

Save it for a couple of weeks when you can have more choice and better service.

We have agreed the T&C for this Valentines. We will each buy one card and a small box of chocolates. I will get one for dd too.

DP has said that it will be either the night before or after as he agreed with you Morticia
I did say I don't mind if you take me to Nando's as long as we go out do you think that's where I'll end up now?
