Just keep distracting yourself. Vac, wash-up etc... The craving fades...... Have a grape instead.

I stopped a week before christmas and I don't miss it at all.

I feel fab.

And I'm saving lots of money!

Just keep telling yourself that you can smoke if you want to - but you don't want to. That this is a choice that you have made.

The hardest thing if you're stopping smoking is to feel resentful about it. You're much more likely to fail if you resent not smoking.

Just keep telling yourself that this is your decision. That you could have a cig any time you want, but you DON'T want to.

Well, it worked for me anyway.

Your children will thank you for it.

That your body will thank you for it (even if you can't 'feel' a difference).

That you are not throwing that money away anymore.

Be strong.

Bluddy hell i gave in...after lots of shouting and bad behaviour I went to my local corner shop and brought some fags...I smoked half a cigarette

It's not us YOU are doing so so well. Think how many cigarettes you could have smoked in 24 hours that you chose not to. I am a big fan of baby steps. If you manage the same again tomorrow it is two whole days on only half a fag, that is AMAZING.
