DC as we are all going to bed.
SIL fell and went to A&E at 3pm today with a sore wrist. I have had their 3 DC since [not a problem really] But have had no ph call or text since, they are not ans msg we sent but my sis just rang as the updates are on F/B Hmm.
I have put all the DC to bed and am wreaked so want to go myself [esp as I will be up at 6am]
so will I tell them leave off calling for the DC?

Also in case you think I am cold hearted bitch [which I am] My DP did check and say it was at worst sprained but as he wanted to watch the match in peace he told her go get it checked so we are not worried about a major injury or even a break.

YANBU!!
If she is able to update FB she would be able to contact you.
I'm so Angry and Sad for the children who must be worried about their mum and the mother obviously doesn't take that into consideration.

YANBU. I'd go to bed too. I'd be a bit annoyed at the lack of response to messages. I'd understand that for a serious accident but not for a sore wrist.

I can't think why they haven't been in contact, surely a sore wrist isn't an emergency where they can't get to a phone.

Are they taking the piss do you think and actually out on the lash?

If the dc are asleep they would be BUR to expect them to be awake and ready to go home! It's way too late..kids should be asleep by now and not woken if the parent could not be bothered to let you know by now!

Agent no I know they are still there as DP is at work and popped in to check on them Blush
She has form of being a drama queen so even her youngest is not bothered just happy to have a sleep over,
I guess the ph is being used to update F/B I checked it is blow by blow account of what is happening with pictures from the bloody iphone.
They will be fine and can wear my DC clothed tomorrow and muck around with us for the morning
I am so Angry that she can update the world yet not me Confused

Madhattershouse I am BU according to DP WHO is on a 12 hr night shift, 9 children in the house means no sleep for him tomorrow morning Grin

Bluddy their Dad could have rung me at least they are gone 9 hrs with out a ph call or text or he could have collected them, but tbh I was being sarcastic in the text to them it is a sprained wrist.
Agent I am waiting for them to suggest I keep the DC as she cannot mind them with a sore wrist while her DH is at work Grin

Well they are still here and DP gave up on sleep but rain gear on and we are going to brave the wind and rain for a run in the park and a DVD later so DP can go back to bed then.
No news this morning, they left the hosp at 1.30 am after having a slight sprain diagnosis and a row that she needed stronger painkillers the paracetamol, Hmm
All this in a text at 1.45am and a they will ring later re the DC still no ph call so text to say we are going out and ring after 2 as we will be having lunch unless they want to join us.
But again DP will check F/B for an update later.
By the way it is noisy here lol I will need to get flowers for the neighbours later on Blush

Not surprised its noisy canyou. I think they are being unreasonable. Being in A&E for hours is obviously horrible but if she is updating FB then she has her phone on. Even if they had made her switch it off then her DP was capable of stepping outside to update the person who had their children.

Why does a grown woman need someone to sit with her in A&E, when all she has is a sore wrist? Next time the father should look after his own children.

Wtf are they playing at? I wish I had something helpful to say, but I'm just shocked someone would treat you so badly. It looks like they wanted a night off from the children.

It's the lack of contact that makes them so unreasonable. A&E can be madness at times (especially on a weekend night), but if they are updating FB, they can call you.

Cheeky fuckers.

Sounds like a bit of a cheeky mare, whatever way you look at it. And she should most definitely have called to let you know what was happening.
